Half-Life: Opposing Force 10 years now!!! Happy Birthday Adrian Shephard!

Today it's the 10 years of the Half-Life Opposing Force, and we decided to present a new media release to celebrate it.




A little step back into 1999




Opposing Force; critically acclaimed expansion pack for the award winning Half Life, you play as Corporal Adrian Shephard, a United States Marine, sent into an underground facility known as the Black Mesa Research Facility on a classified mission. Things go horribly wrong though, and Corporal Shephard, finds himself fighting for his life and lives of his comrads against hordes of alien creatures and government agents bent on making sure nothing escapes intact.

About Operation Black Mesa
Operation Black Mesa is a Half Life 2 modification; the second installment of the award winning Half Life. Utilizing the immense array of features of the Source engine, the Operation Black Mesa team plans to remake Opposing Force in all it's glory in the Source engine. What we plan to do is remake everything from the 3D models to the maps, so that Opposing Force can once again be praised as one of the best expansion packs for any game to date. We here at the Operation Black Mesa team wish to comprise both single-player and multi-player elements into our modification. We may be adding a Capture the flag mode, but don't quite count on it at the moment.

What is Half-life: Opposing Force?
Half-life: Opposing Force is a expansion pack to the award winning Half Life created by Gearbox Software and published in November 1999. You play as U.S. Corporal Adrian Shephard, from the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit (HECU), sent in mission during the fictional Black Mesa incident. There are 11 chapters :

Some others photos of this trek, you can notice the variation of the vegetation, i love the photo with the numerous plants and the moss, it's very sweet, it's like miniature backgrounds sometimes. There is many things that gives you inspiration up there, again feel free to use these photos.

I make a post this time a bit different, i love trekking and especially in my region in the Pyrenees Mountains, there's numerous little ways and trails to make, a lot of possibilities, some tracks are difficult, others more adapted for the family, you just have to choose! many lakes can be founded higher and new valleys and landscapes.

A few concepts about the Xen worlds. They are composed about various organism, abundant vegetation, floating isles and desertic places... there's a lot of sketches and concepts, we'll get onto many ideas later, there's a lot to do!

EON: Final- the short

The short movie is now finished! i would like to thanks Jean-Vincent and Tania, it was great to work together on this student film during these months, a lot of good moments!
